Description

The audience for this work includes clients, designers, allied professionals, and art enthusiasts. This exhibition opening was the climax of a design campaign announcing the launching of Blank, a design studio. It focused on presenting graphic ideas in a series and displaying design as an art form in a gallery setting. The artwork represents the different creative energies within the new studio, while the applications, levels of information, and complexity reflect the studio expertise.

The artwork was strip-mounted to a silver board hung from the ceiling. A silver rod was then attached to the bottom as a weight. The graphics were laser-plotted on bond paper. Each display unit was backlit by fluorescent lighting.
