Description

Interactive Resplendence 1996 was designed as a holiday card for Inscape, an interactive CD-ROM game company, as an alternative to the traditional printed holiday card. The intent was to make the interactive material appear hand made and personal. The interface was designed as a songbook with the theme song being “The Twelve Days of Inscape.” The lyrics are humorous and reflective of specifics from Inscape’s 1996 game titles that people familiar with Inscape can enjoy. In addition, all employees were given the opportunity to record a personal holiday greeting, accessed by clicking on their head within the company photo. I value this project because in this ever-corporate world, this interactive card brings a heartfelt human element to its audience.
