Description

The card was designed as a communications tool to announce Knoll’s presence on the World Wide Web. The plastic surface and “animation” properties of the lenticular process are strongly evocative of a computer screen and website animation. The card is fun, provocative, and interactive. Colors were chosen from the palette used on the website, adjusted to the technical limitations of lenticular printing. Text was written and designed to simulate the energy and personality of the website. The card’s dimensions were chosen to meet federal postage requirements.
