Description

We wanted to create icons with a timeless American style, reminiscent of WPA artwork from the 1930s. The typeface for this project is a digital version of Schwab Poster.

This series of posters originally appeared around the San Francisco area in the spring of 1996 as large bus shelter posters and with other retail items at each of the park sites. The response to this series was phenomenal. Most of the bus shelter posters were stolen from the frames.
