Description

Pentagram Papers is a series of whimsical small books that have been published over the past fourteen years by Pentagram Design. Intended for existing and prospective clients and friends, the books distinguish Pentagram from other design firms, demonstrating that the company can think as well as do. As stated in each book, “Pentagram Papers will publish examples of curious, entertaining, stimulating, provocative, and occasionally controversial points of view that have come to the attention of, or in some cases are actually originated by, Pentagram.” The company understands that its best clients are interested in an organization that demonstrates diverse interests, resulting in communications tools unique to each client, versus a house style. The objective of each edition is to ensure that the audience really experiences the nature of the subject matter, through use of strong design and reproduction values, and, where possible, other quirks, such as the centerfold pull-out section in this edition of Souvenir Albums.
