This self-promotion for Nicole Citro of Nation Wide Papers was inspired by two criteria. One, the client had a limited budget but wanted a piece that left a quick impression, and, most important, encouraged name recognition. The limitations of the budget necessitated the simplity of the form.
Second, this piece had to act as a business card. I decided to focus on the client’s name, which is quite visual, and expand the idea of a business card into a sequential presentation of pictographs and visual puns. The phone number acts as a “reward” at the end.
