Description

In 1995, the Chicago Board of Trade continued to be the global leader for transactions in market commodities, securities, financial instruments, and other products. Our annual report for that year focused on the dynamic activity “in and out of the pit.” A sequence of carefully selected “in” and “out” words supported this theme and built a rhythm throughout the book. The pace of the book was also structured around simple black-and-white vignette drawings of the year’s highlights. Illustrative and general paintings served as chapter openers and full-spread depictions. A unique accordion pull-out detailed one of the biggest stories of the year—the expansion of the new trading floor.
