Description

The intended audience of the Slant Cowboy poster was young adults, the readers of Slant Magazine published and distributed by Urban Outfitters. The topic for this issue was music. They asked for an image dealing with “cowboy music” which seemed slightly different to country or even western music. The collage of images from singing cowboy movie posters seemed like an appropriate expression. Limitations were one color.
