Blind Melon had just come off a triple platinum selling album (3 million) and “Soup” was their sophomore effort. They have a large and avid fan base who collect singles, imports, and anything special that the group endorses. After viewing the cover photo we singly wanted to house the CD booklet and disc in a classic protective menu cover that you might find in some greasy diner. We produced a special 5-color CD label for this limited edition as well as to give their audience more of a reason to want to purchase this version. Just a note: the man on the cover is actually the producer of the record and the soup itself is a prop.
