Description

The interior landmark sign for Craig, Singleton, Holloman Architects, fabricated of raw, mild steel, measures approximately 40 inches square. The surface of the steel is a study in contrasts: the firm’s square mark is made evident by leaving the naturally dark and modeled surface untreated and exposed to develop further patina, whereas the surrounding borer is scribed, brushed and routed to a bright finish and sealed to preserve the intricately reflectively shine. Dimensional steel letterforms playfully spell “ARCH+ECTS” while the partners’ names are applied in crisp vinyl letters around the tooled border, punctuated with brass accents.
