Each year, the city of Atlanta hosts one of the largest Arts festivals in the country. The Festival exhibits a very wide range of visual and performing art drawing an equally divergent crowd. The Festival poster was part of a system which was utilized to identify everything from a one color parking pass to signage to merchandise for sale. Working with a limited budget yet an open mind, we based our system on a very flat yet highly recognizable color palette with line art and typography that reflects the very human side of the festival. Our emphasis was on high communication through a low-tech aesthetic.
