Description

This poster announced a lecture by Mr. Frykholm for the AIGA/Detroit. Frykholm did not want to design his own invitation; He gave us the opportunity. The title of the lecture was “Summertime Fun,” a presentation of 20 years of Frykholm’s annual reports for Herman Miller. We wanted to play off the “S” in Steve and Summertime and the “F” in Frykholm and Fun. We threw in the photo of Steve because most people don’t know what he looks like and can hardly pronounce his name. We decided to save money by choosing a two-color solution. Champion International Paper was a co-sponsor; The decision for the paper was easy. AIGA/Detroit picked the printer and they took care of the production and printing.
