Description

The typical annual report for the petroleum industry might be expected to show only oil rigs and pipelines. ARCO’s unique diversity in the marketplace however, became the focal point for the company’s 1994 annual report. A bold graphic treatment was combined with a variety of visual imagery. Globes, maps, diagrams and photographs were rendered in different styles to reinforce the company’s own diversity. The entire project was printed with six match colors and specially made uncoated stock. What is perhaps most striking about this report is its visual and verbal cohesiveness and the distinctively atypical approach for a petroleum company.
