This self-promotion pokes fun at the idea of “cutting-edge” technology by utilizing a pop culture icon to display our work. It is sent to existing and potential clients to (re)introduce them to The Super Market, a marketing, advertising and design firm. The use of rough, one color type on corrugated board is a juxtaposition to the hi-tech “disc” the recipient may expect to see inside. While many design firms are sending out floppies and CD-ROM, this decidedly low-tech “disc” provides an amusing and nostalgic vehicle to present our portfolio.
