Dance Month is a celebration of dance during the month of May in Cambridge, MA. This poster was displayed around the city to generate interest among dancers and the general public about the events happening during the month. The front of the poster is intended to attract attention, while the reverse displays a calendar of dance related activities. As a piece of communication, the poster first presents a purely visual experience-suggesting an abstract feeling of movement and expression-but also delivers the necessary factual information in a straight-forward organized fashion.
