Description

After recently giving birth to her first child, Trudy Cole-Zielanski began reading about the Social Security system’s uncertain financial future. Her response: make a poster. She photographed her daughter, complete with social security card, and then ran the picture through numerous generations of photocopying to achieve the rough, grainy result. After printing the poster, at her own expense, she sent it to a variety of politicians, “from the vice president on down”, who are involved in Social Security reform.
