Description

This report, produced by the Metropolitan Philadelphia Policy Center, covers issues such as urban blight, suburban sprawl, employment, education and taxation that affect the Philadelphia region. The challenge was to take a lot of weighty—and sometimes very negative—information and put it into a format that would make it accessible to a wide audience of corporate heads, legislators and policy makers.

The perfect-bound book begins with a 32-page 4-color section that carries the positive messages. We used conceptual illustrations and typography to play up key words so readers could get the messages without reading the entire book. We redesigned charts and maps to make them easy to understand.

Juror Notes

“Lively copy, lively spreads. The graphics are clear. Just charts. No more than you need.”
