Description

Writer Eric La Brecque asked us to design a promotion celebrating the process—and sometimes-humorous consequences—of working with type and words. He had compiled a list of common typographic errors and wrote interpretive definitions for the resulting newly formed words. This content suggested the format of a dictionary and the use of typographers’ marks as illustrative elements. Given that the book would be sent to clients and colleagues as a holiday greeting, Eric requested that the piece be small, precious and gift-like. We delivered a final product that had a tactile quality and allowed the subtle humor of the content to shine.
