Scott and Nicole Wilson asked us to design an announcement for their wedding. We designed the invitation to display all pre- and post-wedding locations on one map. The invitation was produced using one-color letterpress on Bible paper, which z-folded into an elegant square envelope. Because the groom is a contemporary product designer, we focused heavily on both form and function to create a classic yet contemporary invitation.
“What a great map—letter-pressed and folded into a square. It doesn’t use any of the trappings of romantic correspondence. There’s nice detailing that changes enough, and it delivers Midwestern tough information. A nicely spiced sausage!”
