Safekeeping is an autobiography, composed of short stories, which depicts events and moments of significance in the author’s life. Though tumultuous, her life also seems to be her most treasured experience. The image of a glass storage jar sprang to mind when I asked myself the question: “How would people store their most valuable possessions?”
