Description

The challenge was to design a consumer-friendly international architectural guide that would heighten awareness of 20 lesser-known Gerrit Rietveld buildings in the Utrecht area.

Our solution included the following devices: large numbers and street names as guidance throughout book, connecting projects to the map; red and white (and spot varnish) dividers for the two languages, referencing the colors of the Rietveld chair; and a grid taken from one of his buildings and reused in different ways.
