Description

I had traveled to the Southern California desert region many times and wanted to create a photographic record that would show both my love for the desert environment and the concerns I have for its exploitation. Its audience includes those interested in the Southern California environment, landscape photographers and those interested in photographer and artists’ books.

I’m happy with the design and production of this book, because it turned out as I had imagined it. Much of the credit for this, however, should go to my publisher, Gingko Press, who allowed me complete artistic freedom in making this book.
