(2002) 50 Books/50 Covers of 2001

Description

The challenge was to take a relatively dry and intimidating subject—writing proper prose and grammar—and make it seem fun and friendly. Because these are guidebooks, we wanted the covers to be functional as well as visually appealing. We decided to make the covers reference charts of the various terms and symbols used throughout the books. Lively typefaces and rich colors were used to give them some visual punch.
