Description

The design challenge of The P-culiar Dog or The Piddling Pup was to create a book in 2001 that looks and feels as if it was from circa 1925. We achieved this by using type, printing techniques and binding materials that were used at the time. Also, the credits appear on the colophon page rather than the title page, so the surprise is discovered at the end of the book.

We are happiest about maintaining the playful, informal feeling of Calder’s original maquette.
