Description

I was approached with the problem of designing a jacket for a 1950s period book that was supposed to have a retro style. I chose to focus on two period characters in the story who were different from each other in many external ways, but were also very much the same person. I chose one simple, streamlined period illustration to represent both characters, and divided it.
