Description

In “A Salute to Composers,” Imaginary Forces animated circles to evoke the emotion of a great film score. The creative motivation for Imaginary Forces’ design for the 74th Annual Academy Awards was restrained simplicity and elegance as opposed to complexity and ostentation. Imaginary Forces explored design concepts based on a foundation of golden circles over black. We tipped our hat to an iconic element of a film, such as with Star Wars. The circles moved in forced perspective into space and mimicked the opening title sequence of the film.
