Managing employee absences in the workplace is often costly and hard to monitor, and many companies are unaware of the consequences. Our objective was to show the reader how quickly time adds up without an employer’s knowing when his or her employee may return. With a limited photography budget, we were able to illustrate the idea using one image of an empty chair repeatedly throughout the book, each with a specific time frame that adds up as you page through the brochure. Hopefully, by the time readers reach the end, they have focused on the services offered and see that the employee is finally back to work.
