Description

I was asked to create an efficient piece that would showcase the upcoming season and bolster the high-energy, offbeat branding efforts for this local theater company. The original intention for this piece was to simply stitch together a series of show posters in an oversized self-mailer. Late in the process, however, costs became an issue and the piece had to be trimmed by at least half of its original dimensions. Simply reducing the posters created an awkward scale issue and left the type much too small. I ended up making generous crops to the full-sized pieces, which in the end really added to the energy and avant-garde feel.
