Description

The cover design parameters are the same for each catalogue: 10 1/2- by 13-inch cover, perfect-bound and up to six colors with one black or a dark gray. Since the UCLA Extension catalogue is a quarterly publication, the challenge is to present a bold statement that will continue to attract the attention of a sophisticated, diverse adult audience with an ever-growing number of high-quality educational options.

Our Masters of Graphic Design series (which began with Paul Rand’s 1990 Winter Quarter cover design) provides a continuity of quality and creativity that keeps the UCLA Extension brand at the forefront of an increasingly competitive marketplace. The individual artistry of each design makes a statement that reinforces the optimism, wit and confidence that our programs embody for our audience.
