Description

The Nose is a semiannual publication produced by the Pushpin Group that presents material of a controversial and/or social nature and is sent to friends, clients and those who might be interested in the subject. This issue presented both sides of capital punishment (but slanted against) and centered around an article by Christopher Hitchens. Aside from being an expression of the designer and editor’s social consciences, the purpose of The Nose is to present the designs and illustrations of Seymour Chwast, so it may be considered a series of promotional pieces. To that end, a wide range of illustration and photography is shown.
