This series is a follow-up to a cover I designed for Rick Moody’s book Demonology. The design was a response to the publisher’s request to unify the author’s backlist. Each cover employs a literal object referenced in each book (sometimes in the first paragraph), and a conceptual twist: “levitating” Smarties, “sprouting” cigarette butts, keys encased in ice and cocaine in the shape of a halo.
