Description

Since its first publication in 1945, Lord Russell’s The History of Western Philosophy has been universally acclaimed as the outstanding one-volume work on the subject. In 76 chapters he traces philosophy from the rise of Greek civilization to the emergence of logical analysis in the 20th century. The front and back covers use images of roads as metaphors for this dense subject. This redesign is an attempt to “update” the cover of the book, which was last done in 1972. I hope my cover lasts 30 years.
