Limestone Lives is based on oral-history stories told by people who have lived and worked in the Stone Belt of south-central Indiana. This book presents reflections on limestone and the human connections to the material itself. The book’s design echoes limestone in the binding and in the arrangement of text blocks. The covers are constructed with binders’ board blocks in a variety of stonelike tones, and are made to resemble a stone wall. The mission of People to People Press publications is to capture and reflect the unique voice of each individual through thoughtful and timeless design and careful production. These publications are created with the intent to be read and enjoyed by generations for many years to come.
