Description

This book proposes inventive solutions for the development, shape and environment of the New York waterfront. Our concept was to reflect this thinking in the design of the book. To do this, we took the idea of “edge” as a literal metaphor and applied it as a graphic device on the cover and throughout the book. This allowed us to present very diverse material in a unified way. For the book jacket, our solution was a reverse French-fold format, with a map of New York’s waterfront printed on the inside. The map serves as a guide to the projects in the book.
