Description

The School of Visual Arts subway poster is a devotional to New York, everything we love about it and the people we love in it. We felt post-9/11 New York needed a party and we tried to make one. All the imagery, ideas and people referred to in it (NYC, WTC, grafitti, Luca) are our loved ones. Our proof of return-on-investment (ROI) was thousands of smiles and tons of curious looks. This is the only proof we need.

Juror Notes

Loved it in the subway; noticed that people only wrote graffiti in the provided word balloon. It had a second and third look effect.
