Description

The bands that cover the metal songs on this disc do so in a very tongue-in-cheek manner. The record label wanted the package to convey this somehow. I decided to make this look like a die-hard metal head’s high school binder. I bought a binder, threw Iron Maiden on the turntable and went to town. I wanted the binder to look like it went through four years of study hall. I love the subtle things in there. On the pen it reads “Subliminal message: buy 10 copies of this CD.” Unfortunately we had to create a censored version for the Wal-Martish stores, deleting all pot leafs, pentacles and 666s. Ozzy would not be proud.
