As designers we rarely come across a project that both inspires and challenges our basic principles of composition. This project created an open landscape that was begging for simplicity. The music was her raw and beautiful demo songs, which would have lost their emotional appeal if they had been overproduced. With that in mind, we set out to mimic their innocence and capture the quality of their vernacular. From original hand-written lyrics on napkins to personal letters from Roseanne, this piece was sure to have an impact based solely on its heart.
