Description

The stories in this book take place in the future in a place where nothing is certain. I wanted to show the scale of humanity in relationship to the machine that the world has become in the stories. Kevin Dresser’s type and illustration showed a perfect mix of man and machine.

Juror Notes

“What is going on here? The type and illustration play off each other, alternately reinforcing and disciplining the “flat” referred to in the title.” Cheryl Towler Weese
