Description

Many of the stories in this book revolve around relationships between two people. I thought that the game of trust, played when one person falls backward, eyes closed, and lets someone catch her, was a good metaphor for these relationships. The fact that he is not catching her shows the darker side of these stories.

Juror Notes

“The fidelity of the illustration and fonts is a direct and perfect invitation to the pages within.”  Jack Woody
“The awkwardness of the illustration automatically makes me think and feel the opposite of the title. Nice example of subtle visual communication.” Archie Ferguson
