Description

This package was created to introduce the Fort Apache recording label and explain its past. As the first sentence of the text says “born out of the original punk, do-it-yourself spirit,” we decided to create a new package as opposed to conforming to an existing one. The idea was simple: take people on a trip to Fort Apache, starting with an aerial view of Cambridge and the Boston area, through the neighborhood, carry them over the fence at the entrance, and then into the studio. The materials we chose were recycled and a little raw— a little like the bands, and in line with the politics of the principle.
