Description

Antonio Carlos Jobim turned to the beautiful surroundings of his native Brazil for inspiration to write his music. I also used them as inspiration to design the package for this three-CD, 60-page booklet set.

The double-spiraled frosted PVC-covered booklet uses only recycled colored paper to represent the tropical hues of the Brazilian coast, nature’s elements, and Jobim’s playfulness. The package also incorporates three non-glued CD sleeves die-cut to resemble leaves, shells, and fish to hold the CDs. Jobim’s wife, Ana Lontra-Jobim, contributed much of the photography featured in this package.
