Description

The main challenge in creating this package was not only showing the history of this legendary band but also their raw and unpredictable style. Fortunately, when we began the project, we were given a huge archive of photos, posters, handbills, the drawings from original master tape boxes, and even hand-written directions on how to get to places they played at. All this allowed us to layer images and information in a manner reminiscent of the band’s live shows, where movies and patterns were projected onto the band and audience.

This has always been one of our all-time favorite projects, as we feel it truly reflects the Velvet Underground’s uniqueness in the music world as well as their commitment to artistic values.
