Description

The record company had just released Frank Sinatra’s entire Columbia recordings in two new boxed sets released by Legacy. The goal was to create a poster that appealed to Frank Sinatra enthusiasts. I chose to make a poster that reflected the time of the recordings, which spanned from 1943 to 1952. I wanted the poster to look like it was from 1952 and these recordings were just released. I love older design styles because older designs were bold, graphic, and uncluttered. Later, I found out that this poster was sold to a collector as being original from the 1950s. I guess this confirms that I accomplished my goal.
