(1997) Sound Off: The Top 100 CDs, Music Videos and Print Collateral

Description

This collection marks the first time the final recordings by the legendary singer/songwriter have been released on CD and was designed to appeal to long-time Lead Belly fans as well as those who have recently discovered his music. The B& W cover photo suggests the power and directness of Lead Belly’s songs, while a cropped version of the same image states out at the viewer from the spine. A close-up of Lead Belly’s face taken from the original album cover appears inside on the jewel pack, connecting this release to the original.
