Perry Farrell’s recent travels through Indonesia, which influenced his music and vision for this recording, combined with the belief that a simple icon makes for a memorable package, made the cover choice clear. The photo of the lady in the orange shirt, with the addition of a sort of gimmick Indonesian typeface and a lovely non-glare dusty green, worked together to complete a simple and dynamic image.
