Description

WWW.metadesign.com is a promotional website for MetaDesign, a multidisciplinary design firm with offices in San Francisco, Berlin, and London. The site acts as both a marketing vehicle and a recruitment tool, presenting information about the firm, its clients, projects, and philosophy. Known for its innovative approach to visual communication—for clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Apple, the Berlin Transport Authority, Audi/VW, and the Cambridge University Press—MetaDesign is distinguished by a high level of typographic expertise and a commitment to state-of-the-art technology. These issues are reflected in the design of the site, which works with a restricted palette of colors and fonts to create an elegant, yet efficient interface. Many text-oriented pages, meanwhile, provide ample content, and limited text links aim to avoid confusing the viewer.
