(1997) Design of Understanding 2
|
The refined user interface of the Microsoft Encarta ’97 Encyclopedia facilitates understanding by allowing users to concentrate on content. Students and their families can easily navigate, while researching, browsing, or just having fun, by stepping through manageable lists in Home screens or cascading menus. Elements such as the Pinpointer, and the More Information dialogue, have been designed to allow users to get an immediate sense of what Encarta holds, while enabling them to filter down to a specific table of contents.
