The map on the cover of this annual report for an ethno-botany-based drug company immediately draws the reader into the world of a shaman scientist. Aerial photography and a journal entry handwritten by a field scientist convey the company’s scientific approach, in which plants used by native healers in the rainforest are screened for medicinal use.
