(1996) Information Graphics: Design of Understanding
|
Workers have long been at a loss to improve their individual work areas without relying on experts. Using information graphics, the ergo measure tool offers a way to optimize the ergonomic relationships between the computer, the work surface, and the work chair to support an individual’s body size and shape. Key graphics measurements from the current ANSI standards on the back of the ergo-measure tape guide users through a series of ergonomic adjustments. An accompanying booklet explains how to use the level on the face of the tool and the mirror on the back to position the computer screen correctly. The smart tool ultimately transfers ergonomic adjustment into the hands of the individual.
