(1996) Information Graphics: Design of Understanding

How would a snowboarder who is inherently interested in snowboards present dry product specs and other technical information in a catalogue? The designers thought it would be fun to put themselves in the consumer’s shoes. They cut spec charts out of a more conservatively designed catalog and hand-pasted them in a collage. Hand-lettering and illustration loosen things up, while hidden graphic surprises entice the reader to look again and again.
